We’ve started this blog because there’s always room to improve. Our vision to build a renovating network to share ideas, joys,disasters,frustrations and successes in renovating.
My wife and I have been renovating houses for approximately 10 years. We enjoy renovation and have sometimes made a small profit in the process. Primarily we enjoy improving the houses we live in.
We live in the Inner west of Sydney and are currently renovating a three bedroom federation style house that we bought 12 months ago.
The house has a lot of work to be completed as it came complete with floor tiles throughout the house, pavers in the back yard as well as sheds and carports with only a small patch of grass. Finally 80% of the backyard and was covered by a vegetable garden.
Now given our family contains three growing boys we needed to create the space for them to play.
This Blog is created to share with you our joys, frustrations, disasters and successes along our current journey.
I would like to build this as a community of people who enjoy renovating and would like to share their experiences, learning and tips on this exciting journey in a non threatening environment.
My wife and I have renovated 6 houses or units during this time and will share our stories on each of these over time.
